A well-equipped Level 3 hospital, maternity care, medical camps and an ambulance for Umande.
Education for Umande Children
Equipped schools and laboratories, two ICT centres for the youth, a TVET polytechnic, motivated teachers and lower school fee burdens.
Agriculture
Farmer training, better markets without brokers, markets for skins and hides, and community boreholes for irrigation.
Infrastructure
All-weather roads, bridges, electricity and solar, modern markets, bodaboda saccos and sports facilities.
Business Communities in Umande
Lower unnecessary county taxes, affordable and well-maintained roads, and small cooperative forums for traders.
Security in Umande
Modern police stations, Nyumba Kumi, and solar-powered Mulika Mwizi lighting.
Meet the candidate
Born and brought up in Umande and trained to postgraduate degree level, Hon. Mathenge Njeru has taken part in the area's development, including the Davis Catholic Church and youth development.
